On the 1st of September 2018 Senior Molecular Imaging Technician Mr Rob William presented a Master Class on Cardiac Nuclear Medicine at the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medcine.
Researchers of the MBCIU attended the Joint Annual Meeting ISMRM-ESMRMB 2018 held in Paris, France. Warda Syeda received the Magna cum Laude Award from her abstract titled ‘A Continuum of Components: Robust Parameter Mapping in Sodium MRI’. In this work, she developed a signal model for understanding the biophysical underpinning of the MRI signal from the sodium nuclei, with the purpose of developing novel biomarkers for healthy and diseased brain tissue.
